MY STORY
A husband, two daughters, a few dogs, horses and a home I love. I live in the mountains on 40 acres and have a lifestyle that demands attention to my family and our animals. My days consist of preparing for the next rodeo, making sure schoolwork is completed and dusting...lots of dusting! Maybe a little idyllic, but I have prayed hard, worked hard and failed more times than I can count in order to be where I am today. And while there have been many people and circumstances that molded who I am, what ultimately brought me here is God and me – never giving up – Him on me or me on Him. I have learned to put one foot in front of the other, even when I can't see the path. Life requires movement, not stability or guarantees.
My Philosophy
Learning to be content (Philippians 4:11), exercising faith with gratitude (Philippians 4:6) and trusting in God's plan (Jeremiah 29:11) are the cornerstones of my life. Circumstances will not define me, but how I choose to think, act and feel about those circumstances will determine my future. I have the power to change only me, but changing me, can change my world.
